26 enter guilty pleas in December

Over the last few weeks, 26 persons have entered felony guilty pleas in the Circuit Court of Covington County. According to District Attorney Greg Gambril, defendants have appeared before Circuit Judge Ashley McKathan, Circuit Judge Charles “Lex” Short, and District Judge Frank “Trippy” McGuire to admit their guilt in cases involving a number of crimes.
The following defendants have recently entered guilty pleas:
Cecil Ray Blue, Jr., 38, pleaded guilty to second degree receiving stolen property, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to five years, five years and one year respectively.
Joshua Robert Burns, 44, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to three years imprisonment.
Summer D. Carroll, 21, pleaded guilty unlawful possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to three years imprisonment.
Joseph Deason, 22, pleaded guilty to three counts of third degree burglary and was sentenced to 10 years concurrent time on each count.
Allen Keith Denny, 41, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance and chemical endangerment of a child and was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment.
Nolan Paul Denny, 18, pleaded guilty to three counts of third degree burglary and was sentenced to 10 years concurrent time on each count.
Brenda Gail Douglas, 44, pleaded guilty to second-degree unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance and sentenced to eight years imprisonment.
James Henry-Udell Duckworth, 53, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance and second degree unlawful possession of marijuana and sentenced to 11 years imprisonment.
Kenneth Dewayne Harrison, 39, pleaded guilty second-degree unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance and sentenced to nine years imprisonment.
Christopher Lee Jackson, 45, pleaded guilty to unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and sentenced to 12 years imprisonment.
Johnny Benson Lacey, 51, pleaded guilty to fraudulent use of a credit card and second degree unlawful possession of a forged instrument and was sentenced to a concurrent sentences of 5 years.
Nick Lawson, 35, pleaded guilty to two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment on each count.
Chancellor Gabriel Matthews, 24, pleaded guilty to first degree unlawful possession of marijuana, third degree assault and resisting arrest. He received concurrent sentences of five years, one year, and six months, respectively.
Craig D. Musgrove, 47, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance and second degree unlawful possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to concurrent sentences of 104 months and 12 months imprisonment, respectively.
Charles Everett Patrick, 45, pleaded guilty to unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and was sentenced to eight years imprisonment.
Kimberly Patrick, 41, pleaded guilty to first degree unlawful possession of marijuana and was sentenced to three years imprisonment.
Ryan J. Reeves, 21, pleaded guilty to three counts of third degree burglary and sentenced to 10 years on each count.
Michael James Schneider, 27, pleaded guilty to unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and sentenced to 12 years imprisonment.
Twyla Monshai Stallworth, 24, pleaded guilty to unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and sentenced to 12 years imprisonment.
Nova Regina Strickland, 41, pleaded guilty to unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and sentenced to five years imprisonment.
Tony Nathan Tucker, 29, pleaded guilty to second degree receiving stolen property and was sentenced to six years imprisonment.
William Robert Walker, 45, pleaded guilty to unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and sentenced of 10 years imprisonment.
Brandon Edward Watson, 19, pleaded guilty to three counts of third degree burglary and was sentenced to 10 years on each count.
Faye Marie Weeks, 38, pleaded guilty to unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and sentenced to four years imprisonment.
Jamie Lamar Wright, 26, pleaded guilty to first degree unlawful possession of marijuana and was sentenced to eight years imprisonment.
Regina Lynn Wright, 34, pleaded guilty to second degree possession of a forged instrument and was sentenced to five years imprisonment.
