To the citizens of Covington County:

Words cannot express the profound gratitude I feel toward the many hundreds of you who have expressed your support of me to Gov. Riley for probate judge. Your phone calls, emails, letters and petitions have not only made a positive impression with the governor, they have also left a permanent impression on my heart.

It has been an extreme honor to serve as your special probate judge since June. It has been my goal to restore your trust in the office that has meant so much to my family and yours. Though the governor has appointed another, I want you each to know how privileged I have been to have had this opportunity. It has been a dream come true.

The love I have for Covington County and our people is deep and lifelong. Thank you again for your tremendous support.
