Judy Thomas

Judy Commander Thomas, 44, passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at her residence in Westville, Fla. She was employed as a lab technician at the Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Wendell Thomas, and son, Joshua Thomas, of Westville; her parents, Harold and Lunita Nevels of Geneva; four sisters, Deadra Lambert of Destin, Fla., Shana (Carl) Holloway of Geneva, Tracy (Darryl) Hendrix of Birmingham and Tracie Boyington Thomas of Andalusia; four brothers, Darryl Nevels of Geneva, Richard (Tracy) Nevels of Enterprise, Roger Boyington and Randy Boyington, both of Andalusia; five nieces, three nephews and one great niece.
She was preceded death by her sister, Pennie Commander Jackson, and brother-in-law, Greg Jackson. Her father, Fred Commander, passed away one day after her death.
Funeral services were held at Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008 at 11 a.m. Burial followed in the Mt. Ida Methodist Church cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Monday evening, Sept. 29.
