Four advance to Pepsi Pitch, Hit and Run sectionals

Luke Taylor, Daniel Hall Autrey, Chip Taylor and Ryan Smith each won their respective division Wednesday in the Greenville Parks and Recreation Department Pepsi Pitch, Hit and Run competition.
In the 7-8-year-old division, Luke Taylor swept all three categories, finishing with a score of 648.
Sullivan Harold finished second with a score of 307 and Alex Merry finished third with a score of 250.
In the 9-10-year-old division, Autrey took first place by taking both the pitch and run competition, finishing with a score of 575.
JaQuan Lewis, who took first place in the hit competition, took second with a score of 511 and Brady Vincent took third with a score of 349.
In the 11-12-year-old division, Chip Taylor took first place with a score of 883. Taylor finished first in the pitch competition and second in both the hit and run competitions.
Roscoe Moorhead, who took first in the hit competition, took second overall with a score of 789 and Dustin Moorhead took third with a score of 629.
In the 13-14-year-old division, Ryan Smith took first place with an overall score of 948.
The four winners now advance to the sectional competition in Dothan. The sectionals will be held May 12 at Doug Tew Park at 10:30 a.m.
