Miller, Carroll united in December marriage

Susannah Merrill Miller and Barry Keith Carroll were united in marriage at 5 p.m., December 16, 2006 at First United Methodist Church in Prattville.
The Reverend Randy Woodham officiated. Music for the ceremony was provided by Rodney Hamilton, organist and Melaney Jones, harpist.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Harrison Miller of Prattville.
She is the granddaughter of Hazel Mallette Horn, the late Thomas Richard Horn Sr., Mrs. Harrison Henry Miller and the late Mr. Miller, all of Greenville.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl William Carroll of Prattville.
He is the grandson of Mrs. Alto Roten, the late Mr. Roten and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Carroll, all of Montgomery.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore a formal gown of ivory silk shantung.
The strapless gown featured a form-fitting draped bodice accented at the waist with a champagne satin sash and a bustled skirt.
The back of gown had silk shantung-covered buttons and an attached chapel-length train.
Her bouquet was a hand-tied arrangement of ivory calla lilies.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was Laura Murfee Brown of Prattville.
Bridesmaids were Amy Suzanne Adams of Graceville, Fla., Heather Cothran Bulger of Prattville, Lauren Elizabeth Horn of Birmingham and Lindsay McCorkle, April Shannon McLeod, Dashiell Rogers Miller, Amy Catherine Shaw, Crystal Lynn Sheridan, Gail Marie Smith and Jamie Sharpe Sutton, all of Prattville.
The flower girl was Sydney Nicole Owens of Prattville, niece of the groom.
Mr. Carroll served as his son's best man.
Groomsmen were Brandon Lee Baker, Christopher Shawn Baker, Christopher Edward Marks, Norman Harrison Miller, Nicholas Garrett Pelham, Michael Jefferson Sanderson, Thomas Drew Sheridan and Jeremy Jason Sutton, all of Prattville, and Brandon James Counts of Atlanta.
The ring bearer was William Dylan Owens of Prattville, nephew of the groom.
Program attendants were Amy Melissa Miller of Greenville, Laura Allen Bender of Letohatchee and Katherine Elizabeth Lincoln of Perry, Fla.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in Montgomery at the RSA Alabama Center for Commerce.
The Legacy Band provided entertainment. Mr. and Mrs. Carroll now reside in Prattville.
