Couple unites in marriage first of December

On Saturday, December 2, 2006, at 4:30 p.m., Josh and Tonya Hartin were married at New Ebenezer Church in Highland Home, Alabama.
Mr. Hartin is the son of Irvin and Susan Hartin of Highland Home, and Mrs. Hartin is the daughter of Bobby Snell of Mobile, Alabama, and Martha Faulk of Luverne, Alabama.
Brother William Leverette
performed the ceremony.
The bride was given away by her 12-year-old son, Tyler Jordan.
Her youngest son, Taylor Jordan, was the ring bearer.
Penny Wilson, the bride's sister, was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Amanda Paige Snell (sister of the bride), Valla Furr, Anna Reese, Alecia Hartin, Michelle Stephens, Camden Stephens and Nikki White.
Keith McCormick served as the best man, along with the groomsmen, Ronnie White, Jered White, Larry White, Derek McCullough, Dale Duett, Chris Wright and Zach Reese.
The four flower girls were Ayden Reese, Makayla and Katelynne Furr and Summer Stephens.
Ethan Wilson escorted the youngest flower girls, Ayden and Katelynne.
The bride wore a haltered corset bodice gown with a train and a white and apple trimmed veil with swarovski crystals to match the bridesmaids' dresses.
Approximately 150 guests attended the candlelit ceremony.
The couple has planned a cruise to the Virgin Islands in January.
