Twyla Amanda Wood and Thomas Ray Polen were united in marriage at 6 :30 p.m. on July 5, 2005 at Sherling Lake Park in Greenville.

Bro. Randy Harvill, pastor of Brushey Creek Baptist Church, officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Randy and Angie Wood of Greenville. The groom's parents are Layman Ray and Maryland Alice Polen of Jackson, Missouri.

The maid of honor was Trista Locklear of Greenville and Christy Smith, also of Greenville, served as bridesmaid.

The groom's son, Justin Polen, served as the best man.

Thomas, Twyla and Justin reside in Wheatland, California, where the couple serves in the U.S. Air Force.
