Greenville will soon be the home of a new strip mall located in front of Wal-Mart on Willow Lane.
According to Scott Hale, co-owner of Certified Anchor LLC
and Anchor Commercial Development, 75 to 85 percent of the stores in Willow Pointe will be up and running by Jan. 2006.
“That's the timeframe we're looking at right now,” Hale said.
The 17,300 square-foot building will be the new home to Top Nails & Tan, Check-into-Cash, Cato's, Old Mexico Restaurant, and Shoe Show.
“There are two or three more tenants whom I can't disclose just yet because they haven't signed their leases,” Hale said. “There should be a total of seven or eight stores in the entire complex.”
Hale said that Willow Pointe would be well lit so that it will be easy to see from the interstate.
“There will be brick columns in the front which will make it very attractive,” he said. “This is definitely not going to be your ‘plain Jane' building.”
Customers will be able to park in front of Willow Pointe, and there will be access to it from Willow Lane. The two other entrances will be made across from the Murphy Oil USA entrance and from the Wal-Mart parking lot.
