Mary Philen of Fort Deposit and Gary Pouncey of Greenville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mylan Diane Pouncey, to Justin Ryan Heartsill, son of Wyman and Tena Heartsill of Greenville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mrs. and Mrs. Irving W. Pouncey of Greenville and the late Mr. and Mrs. John R. Olney of Frisco City.

She is a 2000 graduate of Greenville High School and is currently employed with Key Safety Systems in Greenville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Bea Heartsill of Mobile and the late Cecil Heartsill, and Annie Butts of Fort Deposit and the late Wentford Butts.

He is a 1999 graduate of Greenville High School and in 2005 received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Auburn University. He is presently employed by NCAT in Auburn.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place at 6 p.m. on November 5, 2005 at Bethel Baptist Church in Fort Deposit.
