Citizens should be proud of Covington Center Arena

Dear Editor:

I wanted to write and tell you how much the Heart of Dixie Cutting Horse Association appreciated all of the hours and work the Covington Center Arena put into making our show a success. We have put cuttings on for many years in many places, however, Tony Wells and the staff at the Covington Center Arena were by far the most cooperative and helpful people we have ever worked with. Hauling more sand in on the county's day off, taking care of the stall area, setting up for our dinner, keeping everything running smoothly really aided in making our show a successful one.

The staff and all the people in Andalusia and the surrounding areas should be very proud of this facility. It is by far the best facility in Alabama and I know that Andalusia will bring in a lot of money from people booking this facility, not only to the facility, but also to the restaurants, motels, and other business's in Andalusia.

We again want to thank you so much for your hospitality and cooperation. We look forward to coming back to Andalusia and we are hoping to book many dates with you next year.
