Members of the South Alabama Gun Club are excited about their annual Gun and Knife Show being held this weekend at the Kiwanis Building in Andalusia.
The show offers something for everyone from hunters to collectors, children to adults and men and women of all ages.
The show will feature a variety of guns and knives, including the latest equipment and extras like scopes and carrying cases.
The guns and knives will feature everything from antique collectibles to brand new guns and knives for everyday use.
South Alabama Gun Club President Jim Krudop said he is excited about the upcoming show.
"We'll have over a thousand folks there and we'll pull folks off the road to come," Krudop said. "We've got all of our tables sold and all of our vendors are bringing dollars to our area.
"It's a great event," he added.
Security and safety are being stressed this year, as always, at the show. Krudop said every gun will have a plastic tie so that it cannot be operated.
The show opens at 9 a.m. on Saturday and will remain open until 5 p.m.
On Sunday, the show will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kiwanis Building.
Admission to the show is $4 for adults and free for children 12-and-under. A concession stand will be open at the show.
Krudop said club members Phillip Jones and Mike Jones have done a great job working with club members to coordinate this year's show.
